this was written on my progressive house kick around the same time as "horizon," "vignette," and "moon funk." both the mixing and writing ended up feeling a little rushed and uninspired compared to those other tracks, but there's still some neat stuff here, namely the breakdown that definitely betrays my affinity for late-aughts trance music (thanks in no small part to having watched way too many mario kart compilations on youtube as a middle schooler)
